Two area residents were taken to a Springfield hospital after crashing on U.S. 60 today about two miles east of Rogersville, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Clarence Evans, 45, of Fordland was driving a 2001 Ford Escort around 12:35 p.m. Wednesday when he reportedly pulled into the path of a 2002 Oldsmobile driven by Michelle Caudill, 45, of Springfield.
Both Evans and Caudill suffered moderate injuries and were taken to Cox South hospital. Both were wearing seat belts, according to the report.
