Gas prices have slipped a penny in the last few hours in Springfield, according to local price surveys.

The cheapest gas in Springfield is now selling for $1.69 at the Quik Trip at 325 W. Cardinal Drive at South Campbell Avenue.

The Kum & Go station at 620 N. National Ave. at Chestnut Expressway is selling gas for $1.70.

And Murphy USA at 516 W. Sunshine St. at West Bypass is selling gas for $1.71.
